PayTM has rolled out a feature called "*-Tap" payment option. And they are enabling this option to insecure websites like Nearbuy, who don't have secure way of logging into their website. One can login using email & password on website, however, on mobile app you would get an OTP to login. Nearbuy's passwords seem to have been leaked. Someone logged into my Nearbuy account and used my PayTM money, using *-Tap payment feature, to buy some vouchers. This happened twice, once in Apr **** & again now in Oct ****. I fought with PayTM & Nearbuy back then for almost * months and gave up. Now I will not. This costed me Rs. **** & a lot of mental stress and inconvenience. Please to take strict action against these companies.
